Sweeeet. But I thought Spirits Within was the death knell for Square's film efforts? Good to hear it wasn't [img]smile.gif[/img] .
Sure, the story wasn't too hot in Spirits Within, but I think the main problem is that the media was selling the film as going to have photo-realistic humans. Obviously that's not going to happen in the first cg film that really attempts it. I don't really care if they achieve photo-realism or not, but I'm just glad one of the most promising cg studios isn't dead in the water as I thought.
Anyone have any idea who else besides Cloud and Sephiroth are gonna be in it? I know for a fact Tifa, Barret and Vincent are there, but if Cid isn't, I gotta wonder what it's all for...
